As Salt farming has history of over 600 centuries, it is very complex traditional occupation to understand from its socio-political and cultural aspect. Few researchers have put in significant efforts. AHRM has some of these studies and would like to put before public with intention that more students and researchers who would like to work for Agariyas may find these useful and will take them foreward.

Each of study we have put on this website, is available in public domain and we re only collating it here so that it becomes easy for the researchers to get it from a single website.
