Every village has Anganwadi where all 6 nutrition and pre-school education services are given for kids below 0-6 yrs, pregnant women, lactating mother, and adolescent age girls.
However in LRK or along coast, where Agariyas families migrate for 8 months and reside there is no Aganwadi services. No planning is done for having Anganwadi at workplace. This leads to exclusion thousands of children below 6 yrs, mothers and girls from ICDS services. After continuous advocacy efforts by Agariya Heetrakshak Manch in past 10 years this year, we got historical breakthrough. State government has allocated a seperate budget for starting Rann Anganwadi.
